1) Within the Classis Community the Holy Spirit is free to speak, empower, and produce the Spirit’s fruit as the Spirit provides the Fuel.

 

2) Churches and leaders are equipped, empowered, and encouraged as they spread the Gospel in their communities through mission, and planting churches. 

 

Spreading the Gospel: 

Christ is reigning ever-increasingly in all facets of the lives of individual disciples, communities, cities, people groups, and states.

…Kingdom Perspective so we will seek Christ’s (The Head of the Church) will and direction on all things, be obedient to his call, partner with other ministries that can help us further the Kingdom of God, and live into the diversity and unity of Christ’s body while being rooted in the Reformed Tradition.

 

… Covenantal Relationships so we will live according to the Declaration and the Classis Covenant with mutual encouragement, care, & accountability

 

… Prayer so we will pray individually and corporately for our churches, pastors, and consistories, and we will infuse prayer throughout every gathering and ask intercessors to pray for our gatherings.

 

… Church Health so we will come alongside our churches with coaching, training, consulting, and prayer that they may be as effective as possible in participating in Christ’s mission to make disciples locally and globally

 

… Church Multiplication so will build systems that equip, empower, evaluate, and expand our parent churches and new church starts.  We will also encourage disciple’s multiplying disciples, ministries multiplying ministries, leaders multiplying leaders, and churches multiplying churches.

 

… Leadership Development so we will prepare individuals who are called to be ministers of Word and Sacrament and Commissioned Pastors, encourage congregations to identify and equip ministry leaders within, train consistories, and personally grow leadership.
